What is LegacyX?
LegacyX is a student-led initiative which provides students with the opportunity to discover who they are in Christ. LegacyX exists to develop students into exceptional leaders, while seeking the will of God for themselves and their community. It’s by faith first, good works second, that makes the Kingdom work happen!
Here's the thing,
It has been a crazy & exciting time at Legacy, we give God all the thanks for what He’s been doing IRL. He chooses us to be a part of His plans. WILD! Here at Legacy, we want to give students every opportunity to serve. This space is yours after all. So we are excited to announce a fresh, new student leadership initiative at Legacy: LegacyX.
The LegacyX team will meet monthly to pray and discuss the direction we believe God wants to take Legacy. You will help with setup, giving announcements, prayer & planning, snack preparation and serving, all while being further discipled in your walk with Christ!
LegacyX[pectations]
Able to commit to the majority of youth events for the year (It is key to your growth as a believer to be a regular attendee at Legacy)
Have an active relationship with Jesus and a desire to deepen your faith. (Reading the Word, spending time in prayer, and ‘practicing what we preach!’ The stage of your relationship may vary from student to student; however, we are looking for students who desire to take their relationship with Jesus to the next level.
Have a desire to share the good news of Jesus with others.
Students who served on our previous youth executive team MAY reapply for LegacyX team.
Be able to commit to a one-year term. When the term is complete, the team will be regenerated to allow other students to apply and have the opportunity to serve. Prior LegacyX members may reapply; however, we want to give all students the opportunity to keep ideas fresh and the Spirit of God moving among them.
